EASYJET LAUNCHES A NEW WINTER ROUTE FROM BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT TO FINLAND
easyJet launches a new winter route from Birmingham Airport to Finland
- easyJet has announced a new route to Rovaniemi in Finland from Birmingham Airport, meaning six new winter routes are now available from Birmingham.
- The airline offers more seats to Finland from the UK than any other airline and connects Finland with the most routes, offering 17 from seven countries across Europe
- Seats from Birmingham to Rovaniemi are now on sale on easyJet.com and the mobile app.
easyJet has announced a new winter route from Birmingham Airport to Rovaniemi in Finland, with flights taking off for the first time on 24 November 2024, operating twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays throughout winter, providing customers in the Midlands with a direct connection to the home of Santa Claus and gateway to Lapland this winter.
The route is among six new routes to Rovaniemi announced on Thursday, from Berlin, Bordeaux, Geneva, Lyon and Nice meaning easyJet now offers more routes to Lapland than any other airline, with 17 services from seven countries and will operate its biggest ever Finland flying programme this winter, up 125% compared to last winter.
The airline offers seven routes and more seats from the UK to Lapland than any other airline. Two new services launched last winter to Rovaniemi from London Luton and Edinburgh joining existing services from Bristol and Manchester, while flights to Kittila are served from London Gatwick and Manchester.

The new route to Rovaniemi joins a range of new winter services from Birmingham announced in recent weeks. easyJet flights to Krakow start on 15 November, to Reykjavik on 3 December and to Innsbruck on 15 December, as well as year round routes to Prague and Marrakech, providing customers in the Midlands with even more choice when booking their winter holiday, whether they are chasing winter sun or want a magical Christmas getaway.
