JET2.COM AND JET2HOLIDAYS TO TAKE OFF TO THREE NEW DESTINATIONS IN SUMMER 24 FROM BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will wave off their first flight to Tivat from Birmingham Airport this morning (Thursday 2nd May), when their inaugural flight to Montenegro departs.
The busy flight will mark the start of the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest tour operator giving local customers a taste of Montenegro by operating up to two weekly services (Monday and Thursday) to Tivat from Birmingham Airport until 31st October 2024.
Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks are also expanding their programme later this month from Birmingham Airport, as their inaugural flight to Bergen will depart on 9th May 2024, offering two Thursday services until 16th May 2024 as part of their Discover More collection. This will be followed by Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ first flight to Lesvos on 26th May, marking the start of the companies operating weekly Sunday services to the Greek island until 6th October 2024.
Between the grand marina, spectacular restaurants and designer shops, the beautiful town of Tivat twinkles with luxury. The classic architecture and scared monuments nod towards Montenegro’s rich history, paired with colourful streets and lush vegetation to complement the favourable Mediterranean. Beyond Tivat, wider Montenegro boasts luscious lakes, peaceful bays, and picturesque hikes through its National Park for a holiday destination that keeps on giving.
As well as giving customers access to stunning the Norwegian Fjords, the city of Bergen presents a backdrop of spectacular mountains which are wrapped around a picturesque harbour lined with a variety of fashionable restaurants and bars. Harbour district Bryggen is part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List and provides visitors with one of the world's most significant examples of the history and culture of a particular medieval settlement. This once-in-a-lifetime destination makes for the ideal getaway for those seeking an authentic cultural experience alongside beautifully refreshing nature.
The unspoiled island of Lesvos offers a traditional slice of Greece through its peaceful beaches and luscious mountains, ideal for a sunny holiday itinerary that alternates between relaxing and exploring. Dainty fishing villages are dotted along the breathtaking coastline where holidaymakers can spend days lounging on the sand and taking in the sea views at a harbour-side bar.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are offering a huge programme for Summer 24, with 55 sun and city destinations on sale from Birmingham Airport.
