EASYJET ANNOUNCES NEW ROUTE FROM BIRMINGHAM TO NAPLES
easyJet will begin flying between Birmingham Airport (BHX) and Naples (NAP) on 1 April.
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK country manager, said: “We are delighted to announce yet another new route from Birmingham today, strengthening our connections between the Midlands and Italy and offering our customers more choice for a holiday this summer.”
Tom Screen, aviation director for Birmingham Airport, said: “We’re thrilled easyJet is strengthening connectivity between Britain’s second city and Italy’s third city. I have no doubt demand will be strong for these twice-weekly flights as customers enjoy the culture, cuisine and sights on offer in the Campania region.”
The Naples flights will go twice a week - on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Over the past year, easyJet’s operations at BHX have grown steadily. It now flies customers from the West Midlands hub to the following 11 airports across the UK and Europe: Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Amsterdam, Geneva, Palma, Faro, Nantes, Lisbon, Milan and now Naples.
