Greece is the word at Birmingham Airport thanks to Jet2.com and Jet2holidays

In response to the huge customer demand at Birmingham Airport, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has today added more flights and holidays for the peak summer season, with a major focus on Greece which includes the addition of a new route to Corfu.

As the leading leisure airline and package holiday specialist approaches its first anniversary at Birmingham Airport, it is today adding over 9,000 departing seats between July and September, including more than 7,500 seats to Greece. This takes the company’s capacity at its newest base to well over 1.2 million seats this Summer, more than double the capacity last summer.

The additional flights and holidays announced today include a brand new route to Corfu, with the introduction of a weekly Saturday service giving local holidaymakers the chance to get away to this fabulous island, which features secret coves, olive-strewn hills and fantastic beach resorts such as Sidari, Kavos and Barbati. The addition of Corfu now gives local people a choice of 34 top sun and city destinations from Birmingham Airport this summer with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.

The popularity of Greece means the company is also adding two weekend services (Saturday and Sundays) during the peak summer season to Rhodes, meaning it will now operate four weekly services to this picturesque island, which offers sandy beaches, medieval towns and buzzing nightlife.

The company is also putting on an additional Friday service to Crete (now four weekly services during the peak summer season) and is upping the Zante, with the introduction of a weekly Monday service to Zante, meaning three weekly services from July to September.

Alongside this Greek expansion, local holidaymakers now have a bigger choice Menorca flights, thanks to addition of a weekly Sunday service. This means four weekly services to the popular island, again providing more choice and flexible durations.
