Jet2.com and Jet2holidays Take Off at Birmingham Airport
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays celebrated its first ever flights and holidays departing from the airport on Thursday 30th March 2017.
The company will fly to 23 destinations from Birmingham Airport with flights operating on four of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ brand new Boeing 737-800 next generation aircraft. More than 200 jobs have been created as a result of the operation, which will see 57 weekly flights at peak times.
Flights will operate from Birmingham Airport this Summer to:
- Alicante (Costa Blanca, Benidorm and Calpe)
- Crete
- Faro (The Algarve and Albufeira)
- Fuerteventura
- Girona (Costa Brava, Tossa de Mar and Lloret de Mar)
- Gran Canaria
- Ibiza
- Lanzarote
- Majorca
- Malaga (Costa Del Sol, Torremolinos and Merja)
- Menorca
- Paphos
- Reus (Costa Dorada and Salou)
- Rhodes
- Tenerife
In addition, flights will also operate to Geneva, Grenoble, Krakow, Madeira, Prague, Salzburg and Turin during Winter 17/18. Two New York trips from Birmingham Airport in November complete the list of routes.
