Flybe Boosts Summer Schedule From Birmingham
Leading regional airline adds extra flights with larger aircraft as part of extensive 2014 Summer schedule.
Flybe, Europe’s largest independent regional airline, has announced a number of additional flights from Birmingham Airport boosting the frequency on three of its most popular European routes namely Hanover, Milan-Malpensa and Stuttgart creating new double daily flights effective for travel from March 30th, 2014 as well as an extra Saturday service to Stuttgart.
In addition to these extra flights, the airline will also be utilising larger 88-seat Embraer 175 jet aircraft on the majority of its Hanover and Stuttgart services previously operated by the smaller 78-seat Q400 turboprop.
In total, Flybe will operate up to 680 flights a week to and from Birmingham on 24 routes for summer including its recently announced daily service to Newquay. The airline also reports plans are well advanced for even more new routes with a significant announcement expected shortly.
