Agadir Al-Massira International Airport (AGA) is located 25 kilometres from the Agadir city centre. The airport can also be easily reached from Taroudant, ai it’s on the highway that connects the two cities.

What to expect in Agadir

Agadir’s Blue Flag beach is a must visit, with a clear, sandy shoreline, it’s perfect for swimming and surfing.

There are plenty of restaurants and cafes to tempt your taste buds and if you’re looking for some ancient history, visit the Kasbah. The hillside pink and terracotta walls of the old fort were built in order to protect the city and provide the most amazing views.

Culture in Agadir

After the ancient medina was destroyed by an earthquake in the 1960’s, the city was rebuilt preserving its traditional heritage while undergoing a modern makeover.

Many of the new buildings give a nod to the to the city’s past. You’ll find mesmerising Arabic architecture, an array of ornate mosques as well as scores of fascinating museums and art galleries.
