BHX exists to serve the Birmingham and West Midlands region on its journey of economic growth. We are investing £100,000 a day every working day for the next decade as we increase our terminal’s capacity. That includes building a new security hall with state-of-the-art screening machines which can process customers more quickly, especially at peak times. This is set to be ready in the summer of 2024. We’re also upgrading aircraft stands to enable larger aircraft to be able to board and offload greater numbers of customers more speedily. These are just two of the milestones along the way to our business plan milestone of 18m customers a year by 2033.
