Using Premium Set Down

To enter the Premium Set Down area, there is no need to press for a ticket. Our ANPR cameras will read your registration number to raise the barriers automatically. Find a space and park up. Premium Set Down is only for dropping off travelling passengers.

Blue badge holders

Blue badge holders can park at the Premium Set Down for 30 mins, for free. To take advantage of this service, when you’re ready to leave, take your vehicle registration number and Blue Badge to the NCP Customer Service Office, which you’ll find in the Premium Set Down car park, and that 30 minutes will be validated to you. If you’re going to be longer than 30 minutes, you’ll find that the normal tariff charges apply and you will be charged. If you need to pay, use one of our pay machines located on-site (cash or card) or at the exit lane where you can pay by card.

If the cabin is closed when you need to validate your blue badge, you will need to either press the assistance button at the exit barrier or call 0121 781 6680 - the intercom or phone operator will take the blue badge number and if you are within the 30 minutes allowed will open the barrier on your behalf.
