Leave the M42 at junction 6 and proceed along the A45 following the signs to the airport. On arrival at the airport follow the signs for Car Park 5.
Car Park 5 Parking
Car park 5 is just a 5 to 10-minute walk from the check-in desks. With 3,969 parking spaces and cost-effective pricing, this is the ideal spot for anyone who doesn’t want to blow their budget or for those travelling on an extended break who need longer stay parking facilities at an affordable price.
If you’ve got loads of luggage, have mobility problems, or are travelling as part of a large group, there’s even a free shuttle bus which runs every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day and picks up from bus stops 2,6 and 7. While you’re away we have 24/7 CCTV running and regular security patrols for your peace of mind. There are no sneaky debit or credit fees, book now with confidence.
Using Car Park 5
When you arrive at Car Park 5, there is no need to press for a ticket. Our ANPR cameras will read your registration number to raise the barriers automatically.
If you are planning to book in advance, please ensure you provide us with the correct registration number at the point of booking. If you have made a booking, we will email you with detailed instructions on the arrivals procedure.
Should you require any help, please press the assistance button which is located on the entrance column and a member of our customer service team will be happy to assist you.
Once you’ve parked, you’re free to get to the check-in desks and start your holiday, knowing that your vehicle is being looked after by our professional parking team.

Leaving the car park:
Once you’re back from your break, leave the terminal building, and head back to the car park.
If you have a booking, we will email you with detailed instructions on the returns procedure.
We have two pay machines in the car park where you can pay by card. Please note, all our pay machines are now cashless. The pay machines are located within the car park and in the exit lane. Please have your registration number ready to enter.
Paying before you reach the exit speeds up the process, so you can drive to the exit barrier, which will raise automatically, and get ahead with your journey.
If you wish to pay in the exit lane, please make sure you choose the correct lane for payment. Once you have made the payment, the barrier will raise automatically to allow exit.

Blue Badge Holders
Car Park 5 has 30 bays set aside for disabled drivers, which you’ll find on the first lane on the right, as you enter. If you have a blue badge then you will need to display it clearly in your windscreen for the duration of your stay. If you prefer to take your blue badge with you then please go to the on-site cabin, where you will be asked to fill in a form. You will then be issued with a temporary blue badge permit, which should be clearly visible in your front windscreen. Once you’ve got your permit, you’ll be directed to your space.
