Leave the M42 at Junction 6 and proceed along the A45, following the signs to the airport. On arrival at the airport follow the signs for Car Parks 2 & 3.
Car Parks 2 and 3 Parking
The maximum height limit for Car Park 2 and 3 is 2.05m. Car Parks 2 and 3 are a 1 minute walk from the main terminal’s check-in desks, and offer over 2,000 parking spaces. Being so close the terminal, these car parks are perfect for those coming to Birmingham Airport to pick up arriving passengers, as well as travellers looking for somewhere longer-term to park while on their holidays.
The best way to ensure your space is to book in advance online. It only takes a few minutes and can save you valuable time when it comes to checking in. Parking at Birmingham International Airport is quick, easy, and convenient.
Using Car Parks 2 & 3
When you arrive at Car Park 2 & 3, there is no need to press for a ticket. Our ANPR cameras will read your registration number to raise the barriers automatically.
If you are planning to book in advance, please ensure you provide us with the correct registration number at the point of booking. If you have made a booking, we will email you with detailed instructions on the arrivals procedure.
Should you require any help, please press the assistance button which is located on the entrance column and a member of our customer service team will be happy to assist you.
Once you’ve parked, you’re free to get to the check-in desks and start your holiday, knowing that your vehicle is being looked after by our professional parking team.

Leaving the car park:
Once you’re back from your break, leave the terminal building, and head back to the car park.
If you have a booking, we will email you with detailed instructions on the returns procedure.
We have two pay machines in the car park where you can pay by card. Please note, all our pay machines are now cashless. The pay machines are located within the car park and in the exit lane. Please have your registration number ready to enter.
Paying before you reach the exit speeds up the process, so you can drive to the exit barrier, which will raise automatically, and get ahead with your journey.
If you wish to pay in the exit lane, please make sure you choose the correct lane for payment. Once you have made the payment, the barrier will raise automatically to allow exit.

Blue Badge Holders
Car Park 2 has 9 bays set aside for disabled drivers, and you’ll find these on Level 1 conveniently located next to the pedestrian exit to the terminal. Car Park 3 has 5 disabled spaces located to the left of the entry lanes on the surface area outside.
